This has a more thoughtful exposition of "god vs. evolution" thingy
than most, and the "Don't Believe in God?" section was interesting,
but they lost me in the "Believe in Evolution?" section. Sorry - evolution
can be seen *IN OPERATION*, "real-time", right now, if you look
at the microbial level (no "belief" needed, you can see it happening...;-).
I've always thought of "prayer" as a good way to communicate with
ones own subconscious - but not as a very effective way of addressing
a mythical all-powerful being...;-)

Somehow I don't think this is the right newsgroup for religious debates.

He responded to someone who had put up a post with a 'possible solution'
to living with seizures.

I used to post lists of Phishers and Trolls (unrelated to this thread) who
used to post here.  Several people objected (including 2-3 who hadn't posted
here since 1998),  so I stopped  (*posting the advisories).

The trolls and phishers (if they're crossposting to robot selected
groups) are still being removed.  I just don't post advisories for anyone
who might respond to their (different) message threads.
We get about 4-6? posts like one earlier (below) a week.   I didn't click
to the site to check if there was real information there, or if it was a
robot troll run or a Mass Mailing.
Usually if someone is a regular around here you might be able to trust www
links put up that they've found along the way.
Although a 'newbie' might have found a website of use to others, I don't
usually click onto a First Time Post, until they've established a history
related to living with seizures, or at least suggest their seizure types.
If you saw the 'seizure alert dogs are fake' thread 4-6 weeks ago (collected
about 20 messages, 5-6 mine, that was started by someone who, it turned out,
had never had seizures, nor knew anyone who had.   G./
