THE SUNSET UNSEEN

The Sun sets in a blaze of orange and red
But the speeding train moves through a grove of trees
And the flicker of light
Sparks painful flashes in my head
And I have to turn my head
Ignoring the beauty of the Sun

This was inspired by a thread in the LiveJournal's 'epileptics' community
about photosensitivity:

That poem is very good.  Does it show who wrote it?

Thank you. I wrote it myself. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Sorry I did not realize you wrote it.  I still love it.  I think that
every one who has seizures should read it, since it shows so much
emotion in a small poem.  I know it hit some of my emotions straight on.

Thanks Charlie, that is very moving.
