I was recently working at my computer when all of a sudden I had what would best be describe a flash went off in front of my face. I thought at first it was a power surge from the computer but no-one at work had any power problems
The flash was so strong I was blinded for about 20- 30 seconds. Took a while for my eyes to get back to normal and did have a small headache later
So was it a seizure? I usually have Tonic - Clonic or absense seizures. didn't seem to lose consciousness.
I have heard of Photosensitive seizures but could find much info. Thought I had maybe had a stroke but feel fine.

I can only offer you guesses, but we had a power glitch here earlier in
the day and it caused no screen flashing. The overhead ceiling lights
flickered a bit and then the computer re-booted. I doubt you had a power
problem.
You may remember what program you were in the middle of & say that it
couldn't have happened in that program, but there are many programs &
booting situations that can cause the screen to flash between full white
& full dark and give other flashing effects. That could effect
photosensitive people.

If the computer screen did what I just described & you are
photo-sensitive, it could have caused a seizure of sorts - perhaps a
simple partial? You might have lost sense of time also.

Probably, but much milder than your others.

Use http://www.google.com/
and give it the 2 words
photosensitive seizure
and you'll have enough to read for a long time.

Sounds more like a seizure to me.
