Hi -

I seem to be posting a lot recently, but just this one more and I'll stop.

My question is if anyone has any experience with sugar triggering absence
seizures? I've become suspicious when a log I've been keeping mentions
having a sugary cereal or soft drink prior to having these episodes.
Something else that makes me think there's a link is that my grandmother had
diabetes.

Thanks,

Jack

the night before an episode, I used to get terrible cravings for sugary
foods, biscuits, chocolate etc.  Mentioned it to my doc once, he said it
wasn't uncommon for blood sugar levels to drop before a seizure.
