Controlled Release version (CR, XR or Retard on Label) if he's not
using that type, as that allows variance in time he takes it  (plus or
minus ~5 hours) without reducing blood levels of the dose, or
triggering seizures.

   4.   Tegretol (**any type)   should ***not be Stopped Abruptly
without the Doctor being involved, as it can produce worse szrs. than
he's trying to control if it's stopped abruptly.   *If perchance he's
missing doses or not taking it at the rate the Doctor suggested, he
could be accidentally **producing his own seizures from that sort of
error.

   5.  Alcohol or **Grapefruit Juice will compromise the Tegretol and
interfere with seizure control  (if he has full control now, but even
if he's still adjusting doses).

  6.  I don't know what you mean by 'urine therapy' ??   Sometimes
blood levels of a drug like Tegretol are checked either with a Blood
Test or from a Urine sample (if that's what you meant), as that shows
the amount of the medicine that's Really getting to the Blood (where
it's needed to get to Brain and nervous system),  as some people might
purge a medication faster than others.    The Doctor needs to know
what the **Blood Level** is, to tell if the pill should be Increased,
Decreased or changed to something else.

   7.  You will Only get anecdotal Experiences here, like I gave
above. You will **Not get a Remote Diagnosis** and Advice on
**treatment, and should not expect that on the internet.
  Many Health groups get corrupted by People and Students who post
false information as a joke, so that assuming you will get a 100%
diagnosis from a post like above is not correct.

   This group has had very few posts since late 2007 after a Troll
corrupted the group and did *not have seizures   (he is Offline now,
as he got reported to his provider).    But the original members here
totaling more than 20 from more than 10 countries, who posted 40-80
times a day have *not returned (so far as I have seen).
   You could Read the group over next *7 days to see if other replies
turn up for you.   Otherwise you might want to search for *other
groups which use the term 'seizures'  or 'epilepsy'  in case there are
other active groups I haven't seen.
 (*My seizures are controlled by Tegretol CR, and have been since
before mid 1998, after onset in 1993,  so I have no incentive to look
for more groups to post onto.)

Finally-->  *This group also has a **Large Troll-harvesting rate--
mostly by Robots --many spams and junk mails follow posts like your's
and mine. My Spamkiller *discards over 80 junkmails a morning after I
post here, and for a week.
 *I don't *see the Junk-- I just get total isolated summary, and
they're discarded -->  Asia, Greece and Spain currently top the list
of  Junk Enabler providers-- many in scripts my computer can't even
read.  So it's really Dumb of them to send that junk.   It just makes
their Country look like Fools, and people like me stop buying products
made there.
