Hi gang, sorry it's been a long time since I've posted.  It is hard to
keep up with things, so I apologize if I haven't seen any email sent to
this email box.  The best way to reach me is through the Epilepsy
Foundation of Idaho webmaster email address.

Just wanted to let you know that I have redesigned the website for
Idaho, so the page names have changed.  I know that Gordon and others
may be informing people about our site.  You can still link to the URL,
but you may have to look for the specific pages.

Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho Website:

Learn About Epilepsy:

Safety and Seizures:

Please help me out and let me know if you see any problems on the
website, such as hyperlinks going nowhere or to the wrong page.

As far as I am doing, my epilepsy control is great since I switched
meds.  It took a year and 1/2 to get off phenobarbital, but it is rather
exciting to feel somewhat "normal".

Take care,

I left all your stuff above so I remember to go back and look for
any bugs etc. in the 'new improved site'.    I trust it's as good as
the 'olde improved site' since *that one was where I'd send lots of
Newbies for information.
The group has been largely quiet since about October? when a few
people posted, who I suspect didn't have seizures, or at least not the
types most of the 'regular 20' had.
You can see even recently (if your reader shows same history as I
have), there are a lot of Chaff posts that were computer generated by
people who weren't aware which groups they mass-mailed onto or didn't
have experience with any chronic health issues.  (A few of those
should be offline now.... someone wrote their ISP with their headers
and explained what a support group was for...  :-<  )

Hopefully now that you're back, maybe Dave, Pablo, and the rest of
the 'Core Group'  will look in and notice there's action here again.
Strangely before Christmas I was just finishing a book by Malcolm
Gladwell called The Tipping Point about why Fads happen, how
corporations fail, when something happens that finally produces a
'tipping point' where a product or service etc. falls out of favour--
once the tipping starts, a product can vanish from desirability within
weeks to days....    After that 1 or 2 trolls were around here back
then, I stopped replying except to post e.g. my list of "Websites of
use to newer people", etc.  but many of the regulars like Sofia and
others who were being harrassed (by robot) by one person who didn't
have seizures, the daily post volume dropped from 30-40 down to 10 a
week to almost none thru November and December.
Maybe the 'olde regulars' will come back again..

Jacob (Grandson who's 2yr 5 months now), is back in Australia for
3rd time (vacation/ other Grandparent's farm) already.  If he got
frequent flyer miles he could probably go on the Space Shuttle by
now !!
Oh, and Ontario has about 5 feet of new powder snow.  Fine if
you're a skier, not if you're short -- luckily I'm neither, but wish
Spring would hurry up.
I'll have to look through my Olde Poste before I do it again to see
what needs fixing before I repost it.  I think I sent the note to a
couple of  'Newbies'  off-group in November or December, and posted it
once either near year-end or early January before one troll posted
repeated noise about 12 times. Too bad when they're taken offline that
their olde messages don't drop off.   I'll have to ask 'Bill' why that
is.   Cheers, Gordon.

I think I sent a note direct? to your addr. last night.  One or two of
the links I went to hung and didn't load or wouldn't let me click into
the detail.   Some of the other ones did let me display the content.
(I haven't gone back yet to try all the links in the original post.
I had to *mail a copy 'to me from me'  with a Space in front of above
http items, as when they're tight against the other text, Windows XP
doesn't light it up as a 'clickable link' --I left above way it came
in to show you.)  Gordon. /
