Lamictal is the only drug I take. It's good, no side effects. It's a newer
drug. Sorry I don't
know about those other ones.

Each pill might be for a *different kind of seizure (place where
epilepsy starts inside). I think Oxycarbamazepine is like
Carbamazepine (= Tegretol) I use. But I *Don't use Gabitril or
Lamictal for **my kind of seizures --> Temporal Lobe = Complex
Partials .
Others here Might use one of the last 2, but for different? kinds
of seizures than mine.
Sometimes* a pill name might be like another, and only because
it's made in a different Country might have a different name. The U.S.
Epilepsy Foundation has a Medication (Pill) site where you can type in
a Pill Name and then Search or FInd, and it will make a one page
printable instruction (in English) for most of the Pills we use. It's
at http://efa.org .
**Your Drug Store probably has one better for you in language you
use, and it should say what to use or not use with a pill. Many pills
we use, you can't use Alcohol very well or the pill stops working. /G.
