i hope not. personally, i'm usually feeling what you may call "confused"
for days after having a generalized seizure, in other words - associated
with seizures. also, the state before a seizure, whether it is an aura
or a simple partial sz, may well be called confusion, among other things.

Howdy Murry!
If "confusion" means the post-ictal state, then
the answer is:
It varies from person to person. Possibly -- yes.
Do an Internet search on "POST-ICTAL STATE"
to see if we are talking about the same thing.

I had a reply typed and my server decided to stop (serving), so I
don't know if this is duplicate of not.
Several of the seizure types can end or include confusion as we come
out of them. Also some of the milder (simple partials) can produce
confusion on their own without moving to a full (drop down) seizures.
If you list any medications if you're using any, someone might
recognize if it's one that can produce confusion as our bodies are
getting used to them. Usually at therapeutic dose the confusion will
disperse.
I posted a list of about 3-4 websites I use about 2? weeks ago. I
can repeat it if you don't see it in the history links on your computer
(title is something like "Websites I've found useful". Only reason I
didn't re-cut and paste it here was about 2-3 Others followed that post
with another 3 sites or groups they use, as well as here, and my
original post didn't include those.
Let us know if you don't see those, and I'll repaste them on a new
thread below. There's lots of common symptoms, First Aid (on land or in
water), medications glossary, etc. that might be of use to you.
Also if you're using medications the pharmacy should have given
you a page with the first filling if there are side effects possible or
when to call your Doctor about a particular side-effect. The U.S. Ep.
Foundations has a medications glossary under its site at http://efa.org
but I found the best info on pills was from my Pharmacy as they have
access to the Scripts that the Pill Maker puts out for them. They
might also have a particular www address for any pills you might be
using. G./

Several of the seizure types can end with a state of confusion as
we come out of them. *Usually mine didn't last most than e.g. an hour,
but sometimes I had what I called 'brain fog' for 1-2 days.
Are you now taking any medications for these? If you post the
names of them, others here might be able to comment whether the
feelings you describe could be due to getting used to a particular
pill, or a larger than therapeutic dose.
About 2? weeks ago I published a list of about 5 websites I found
useful, if you can see any of the history file. If you don't see it,
reply here or new past and I'll cut and past an older copy back here.
