As commented on another thread, earlier post was crossposted to 3-5
groups in addition to here.  I don't think they *really have epilepsy,
or they'd be more civil ?

sbcglobal have the Headers and the History folder, that's available
online to *anyone who clicks onto it, and not just here.
They were whining last week about someone looking up their history
and to stop it, when I explained (here) to them, that *anyone, even
spammer robots who don't post here, can do that, and an order to not
look at their profile is a waste of time.

Besides when someone gets abusive with people who try to help,** in
good faith**, assuming they *really have seizures or trouble with
medications even when they Crosspost to *5 groups then, and *4
different ones now, unrelated to seizures, it quacks like a duck and
sounds like a duck,  likely will not attract help wrt. a subject that's
of no use to us.

(After my post last week on that thread, my Spamkill traps went
again from 30 a signon to more than 160. Part could be just from
posting here, that I do less of,  as do a lot of our regulars...  But I
have enough stuff going on in personal life w. friends in grieving, I
don't really need junk that is not related to real seizures disrupting
that. )
I agree w. earlier poster to them-- if it's unrelated to living to
seizures, don't park it here.      G./

What you're posting there is inaccurate and badly needs correction and
clarification. I suppose it falls to me by default to fill you and the group in
on the true story.

Somewhat over a month and a half ago, a teenage high-schooler posted for support
here. She was having symptoms that she suspected might be epilepsy and was
getting little in the way of the support that she needed from doctor, hospital,
and family. You and I participated in discussion with her which ended abruptly
some days later. It was discovered later that the reason for her sudden silence
was a serious injury that put her into the hospital. If you wish to review that
thread, its name was "possible seizure?" and it began Oct 13, 2006.

There was no trolling or crossposting then!

Then on Nov 21, 2006, she posted again to ask a question about the
neurontin/gabapentin that had been prescribed for her.

There was no trolling or crossposting then!

Then on Nov 29, 2006, she made a post that addressed me directly and only me. I
responded to the question that she had asked. The subject header is "partials"
and you can take a good hard look at it if you like. I realize that I have no
control over people posting anywhere, but simple courtesy should have caused
people to leave that thread alone. Alas, people not only got involved, but got
everything confused beyond recognition in the process. Do I sound angry?

There was no trolling or crossposting then!

Then on Dec 1, 2006, a troll appeared out of nowhere and has subsequently been
spoofing, crossposting, and forging headers in the process. That jerk has been
forging headers to make it look as though she is the one who is posting them.

If you haven't been reading the headers, or don't know how to read headers, then
you will blame her for postings that she didn't make and that's what you are
doing. Back off would you please? Imagine how you would feel if it happened to you?

** I remember some of those put wouldn't have read them, as those are
pills I've not used.

**  Several of us who posted on that thread (and least I was) were
trying to post in support of the stuff you had said.  And never
suggested that you or anything you were posting about were part of some
threads that had been crossposted to 2-4 other groups.  If you had that
impression, that wasn't my intention.   G./

  Consider it done.   G./

Hello again Gordon, I was also one of those who got lost in the
crossposting too - it was you who found me! :-) It was sometime last year
I think, when I was searching for your newsgroup, but my thread kept
getting lost all over the place. I think you had a little trouble finding
me too, but I was given a better address to send to, and some easy
instructions on how to avoid these crossposters and what names they
usually went under - I've been much happier ever since I've finally found
the newsgroup though, It's been a lot of help! :-))
