> Partial, When I was in the hospital for my broken back
I was saddened to read about your unfortunate injury. Best wishes for a full
recovery.

That sounds as though you were in "status" (status epilepticus) if the seizure
was not ending on its own. The drug they gave you was probably diazepam or one
of its relatives in the benzodiazepine family.

I take that also. Neurontin is the owned brand name of the gabapentin made by
Pfizer. Enough years have passed so that other companies can also make a generic
gabapentin drug. I recently switched from Neurontin, for cost reasons, over to
the generic that Pfizer itself makes. It's rather amusing becaused the pills are
identical except for the markings and obviously came off the same manufacturing
line. There is a big difference in cost though. It's the first of the ones that
was tried on me that did any good, so I stayed on it. But it didn't do the full
job and others have been added to the mix over time.

Good luck with all of that. Hang in there!
