I have gone 20months with out one.I am grateful i was at home sitting
down.It started out as a migraine, i remember the aura.i woke up sitting in
the floor infront of my couch. My husband said i had the seizure in the
computer chair then got up and tried to leave the house.Coming out of the
fog is feels worse than any nightmare i have ever had, it seems so long and
the feelings are of horror.I say the same things over and over, i cry , i
cannot describe the feeling but just to say it feels like a nightmare. My
neuro has inscreased my trileptal to 3xs a day and i have a appt next week.
Is this punishment? I had expressed feelings of anger at God just a few
hours before.I was up watching tv the night before and I saw a program about
a judge who sentenced a man to only probation even though the man had videos
of a child under the age of 6 being sodomized on his computer.I felt rage
like i had never felt before and anger at God.I have always had a
relationship with God but this just finally made me angry and angry at him.I
questioned my faith and said as much to my husband.I get home and WHAM,
seizure...makes one wonder doesnt it.? I know he didnt make this seizure
happen as a punishment, but sometimes it FEELS that way.

i'm sorry if i blatherd on,just so much going through my mind.

Piper, so sorry to hear about your seizure.  You are right, God did not
cause your seizure.  But stress can contribute to triggering seizures.

Take care,

True.  Here, I find that lack of sleep can contribute to a seizure.  It is
not surprising at all that stress would trigger a seizure.

Well I usually have a little nap in the afternoon to help solve this
problem - helps me sleep a whole lot better in the evening!
