Ya know you'd think after 4, 5, 8 of these I'd learn,  but **Not with
Google*** as my poster.

Below is the headers of the post I replied to.   My AM Junk trap
went from 8 to 70 this morning after that yob's crosspost I replied to
Friday.

Then I just went and did a Reply to another Homeopathic Freak   and
HERE's where my Posts Here and There ****went to****.
THAT's a PHISHER ROBOT,  If you were going to REPLY TO THE EARLIER
THREAD, here are some of the more than **100 Newsgroups the REPLY TO
GROUP will put your address to.

I think it's time for a **Holiday from here****, until I find a reader
that will keep the Yobs out.

Here are the headers I just posted the message shown to.

ago" means under half an hour,  IF it were half an hour, an hour, or x
hours ago,  the Headers list would say that -->

Merry Christmas Everyone.   Maybe 2007 will be a better year.   I'm
taking a break.  I have Real Email people I want to access my mails,
and Grandson photos coming in from West Coast (they're on a course
there).
   I don't need the Chaff of 70+ Trashmails that I had auto-trapped
this AM, from that Yob on Friday crossposting that junk to 5 groups,
and the Mass Groups that Google put my address onto.

I'll either set up a throwaway address like Howdy-1 does in 2007, or
just not post onto usenet groups.   I can read the UK Astronomy group
with the trolls who think there's 'secret government records showing
there's life hiding on Venus'  ( !!!!)   without ever having to post
there and get Phished out like last 2 days HERE.

Mails I can trace the source of trash to, are having the headers
sent to their ISP.  More than 5-6 are offline since Thursday late. It's
the least I can do for the Scum.    /       See ya.   G./

I'm replying on this thread as even looking at the headers of both the
originator and Sofia's posts I can't tell if any are crossposted to
more than one group or Not.   Sofia's server APPEARS to be a
CLEANER/Better poster, that took out other groups than this one. Mine
didn't originally.
This is the reply I had typed to her post -->

Don't be Afraid to ask. The Poster was a Crossposting Troll and
their Internet Provider *May have pulled his service offline when
Someone sent them the Headers showing the ~20 Newsgroups the
Knuckle-dragging Troll put that post onto.  It's one thing to write a
book about health issues that *might be of use to a variety of people
with several conditions.
It's another to Crosspost the wondrous breakthrough to 300+ ?
newsgroups in 2-3 messages in violation of most Provider's Terms of
Service.

For some reason your Internet provider might be taking those other
groups out? when you replied to here, or you managed to open and take
them out manually using your internet provider, so you had a clean post
to here, *only.   You don't appear to have replied onto the other
Newsgroups the Troll had set their initial post up, to enable that. (I
was going to bring your headers over here, to show some of the groups I
expected you had posted onto. You appear to not have. )
You must have a Better Provider than I do.  That's not surprising,
as there are probably only 4-5 on the Planet *worse than minimal
service my current one provides, with reduced service taking the place
of increased pricing, for access.

As I listed earlier (on a separate thread),  I still get 55-60 Spams
overnight, *every night, based on my reply I did to them using Google
Group's <reply to group> , that didn't identify them as a Crossposting
Troll, posting one note to 20+ newsgroups.
That 55-60 Spams a night is up from 4-6 I normally got, based on my
*one attempt to help the Troll, with a seizure they *never had.

One main body of the internet (newsgroups) may be reaching its
'Tipping Point', where this type of Forum begins to take more trouble
fixing broken parts/cleaning the trash/  than return that's produced
from trying to help someone.
There's a Book (not yet out on Oct.25) that will probably? be
University Of Toronto Press, by Andrew Keen. It will be called "The
Cult of the Amateur", and describes how the Internet isn't delivering
what it was supposed to, as it attracts the armpit of the colleges and
schools, and they bring the potential to the 'net **down to their level
by muddying and corrupting discussion forums and businesses 'for fun'.
I saw an interview with him last night on my Educational TV station I
get here (Ontario, Canada).

I expect the post where we tried to help them was a Droid post,
looking for addresses to harvest, or 'for fun', by someone who may have
been removed from service.
Since I don't have extensive protection on this address, I'll discard
it shortly and absent myself from newsgroups, as a useless appendage
that takes more time than return I now get.
I only kept it as a friend of mine from College was struggling with
another Chronic Illness, and I wanted to be able to email out and back
from him and his wife.    He's 'gone' now,  and these types of Trolls
are just an additional waste of space (to quote John Cleese),  that
reduce the average IQ of the population. I have no hesitation in
getting them pulled offline, for intruding into my mails or here, while
I'm still around.
It's what they deserve, and the least I can give them in return for
their disruptions.  G./
