Though apparently seizure free while on oxcarbazepine,
I still have some auras (but much lighter than previously) one or two days a
month.
Should I expect to be absolutely free from auras to consider myself seizure
free ?
Regards.
Pete.

Howdy Pete!

I hate to be the one to break this to you but...
If you are having auras you are not seizure free.

Auras are also seizures aka simple partial seizures.

So the answer to your question is: YES. Seizure free
also means no auras.

Many people with epilepsy would give an arm and a leg
to only have simple partials.
