My wife and I have been on the Fat Flush diet since October of
2005 and one of the essential herbs in the diet is milk thistle. I have
been taking Depakote ER all along with no problems. The author of the
diet is Ann Louise Gittleman M.S. C.N.S. who is very well versed in the
interactions of any of the supplements she recommends. She even notes
an interaction between a fiber supplement and Tegretol which the
manufacturer was not aware of. Your doctor of course, is always your
best source for medical advice, but money would be betting that he or
she will say it's OK. Good luck,
Jim

I looked it up on my Google, and I found that it helped prevent many types
of cancers, liver detoxification, and also had many other medicinal uses
you might be interested in, but I couldn't find it did anything that
interacted in any way with epilepsy so I should imagine it's pretty safe.
The best way to really be sure though I suppose, is to talk to your neuro'
about it.
All the best
