Last wed I had a seizure temporal lobe and Im still regaining memory.
I blacked out the last 4 months expecially the last eight weeks.
While im recovering I find myself very tired but most annoying is
recalling events and feelings associalted with things that have
happpened years ago.  Is this common.  For example I woke up friday
and had forgot my mother passed away 6 weeks ago.  Any Input would be
appriated.

Thank You

Mike

See my earlier note about Memory and T.Lobes, but as well as messing
with our Memory (your note above),  we are also sometimes Triggered or
Messed up by Extreme Emotional things like your note above.   Those
extremes of emotion can either cause a seizure, but we can also feel a
Depth of Depression or Sadness, that sometimes only others of us can
relate to....  Other people can be Upset or Sad,  but sometimes *WE can
get down further than Jacques Cousteau ever did !!!
That's not unusual for our types of Temporal Lobe effects on us,
but Other types of seizures can bring those on too.   Those and the
trouble with Forgetting things we'd expect to Remember better (like
when we were younger),  is just our New Normal now.
Try not to Beat yourself up over that.  That only makes it worse
sometimes, and if you just say 'well there's something else I forgot
again...  :->  '  the Feeling will pass easier and your Memory (well
mine anyway)  seems to work Better when we're not as upset about
whatever it is that's Bugging us.    G./
