Re "You could say the same about Tegretol?"
 I had regular bloodtests when first on Tegretol.  There is a small
group of people (don't know percent) who can't use Tegretol, but the
same could be said wrt. many other szr. meds.  I've used it since ~1995
and have none of the symptoms they listed within the Atkins Diet thread
(overall bad health, kidney and liver problems..  )  .
  (I've never used diets, rather than pills, so didn't reply on that
thread above. )  G./
