Just because my ISP doesn't want me to read this group, doesn't mean I won't
find a way to Ignore That !! :-<
Now I have to find how to get my UK Astronomy group (with their
excellent amateur Photos) back.

I hope everyone had a happy and positive (even if w.o. alcohol ) New Year.

I was sad to see when I woke up this morning that this was all a
miscommunication.  Twelve miners died.  What a roller coaster of emotions for
those families.  I remember hearing the news last night and thinking if I was one
of those family members that had been told they were alive, I would say to myself
I will wait until I see for my own eyes.

Take care,
Julie

All our (overnight) newspapers were in error this morning too.  :-<    I
was up past 4AM Eastern (unusual for someone who takes pills at night), and
hadn't realized (remembered) I had posted that earlier message.  Too bad some
of the people at the initlal 'report'  hadn't taken some steps to confirm the
sources of what started from *1 ?  mis-report, that then snowballed up to
more stories of relief at happy result (that proved to not exist).
One of the books I'm still reading is called 'The Tipping Point', on
different subject, but relates to how an item or story about a product, can
get picked up, embellished and grow as it moves from person to person.
Sadly it only made the outcomes for Families of the People, who were  lost,
more upsetting from the roller coaster of events.   G./
