Kirsty,
I have been on Zonegran for almost 1 year. I am also on 3 other AED's
but since I went on
Zonegran my seizures have been much more under control then before. As
to everyday
they are on an average 1-2 every 10 days to 2 weeks. I really do not
feel any side affects
except I do not have an appetite like I use to and have lost some
weight. But that is all not bad. How is your appetite since you have
been taking Zonegran? M. Finney

Hmm, if it's so absolutely fab, maybe I ought to get my neuro to prescribe
me some, before it all runs out!!
All the best

Zonegran has been a pretty good med for my son. He is on it for the
second time. He has a little less appetite and some memory problems now
that his dose is higher but we see the control getting better so will
work on memory. His seizures are milder on it, at this point.
My daughter was on it for a bit over a year and had some problems. We
did not see them right away, but after about 9 months. She had an
increasing anxiety issue. It was really getting bad before we weaned
her off the medication with doctor's instructions. She also had issues
with food tasting really strange and she would not eat things.
I hope it is a big help for you!
