Howdy ya'll,
My neuro is taking me of of dilantin and giving me "levetiracetam". I
have been on dilantin for a couple of years now.
The levetiracetam is a generic form of keppra I think and I and was
wondering if anyone can tell me of the side effects they have
experienced or any info about it.

I have grand mals once a month and petites at least a week or so.
Along with the dilantin I am presently taking lamotrigine and topiramate
now.
Again any personal side effects info will be appreciated....
:)

Hi,
If you have any skin rashes, it could be levetiracetam OR lamictal.
Personally, I found topiramate to be too sedating, it did me no good at
all! Keppra HAS been beneficial:)
