Did any of the groups wrt. asperger's not have anything?   Howdy Dave did
a post earlier, that has his Website address at end of it.  The Idaho
website is at http://www.epilepsyidaho.org  (from memory) --> If that's
correct,  look for First Aid for Seizures page.  As well as listing what to
do, it also lists the Symptoms (Aura = Simple Partial)  a person might
experience at seizure onset.
Groceries (above) is a little vague to look for reactions to.  Some of
our seizure types can be aggravated by aromas -- Lemon, Vinegar or Bleach
(mine),  Eggy/sulphur aromas with some types.   Others might be affected by
flickering lights (like some stores that have a defective neon bulb or
strobes).
Is there anything similar in the bookstores you refer to that are in the
Grocery stores -- damp, muggy air?  Cleaner Fluid aromas?  I assume he
doesn't react at home to newsprint or books?  But are there any cleaners, or
soaps that cause disturbance?

Have a look at the First aid symptoms in site above too. Howdy Dave
posted a few times earlier today.   He has another Website that you should
bookmark while he's around-- some of these bachelors tend to move around a
lot.  :->  .    G./

It's the stupid blinking lights that drive me crazy in the Hastings book
and movie rental store.  I sent a note to the management, but doubt that
they will respond.  Maybe if I go in and actually have a seizure a
couple times in their store, they would listen to our concerns.  But I
really don't feel like doing that.  When I go in I don't look up and I
cover my eyes.  People probably think I am some sort of criminal, on the
FBI's most wanted list and I'm trying not to be seen ;-)

Take care,
Julie
