SITTING still after seizure

Today, at school, I had a seizure. I don't know how to classify it yet,
as my doctor has yet to tell me (Thursday). Anyways, here's what
happened:

After observing a class that I will be an aide in, I walked out of the
room and out into the sun and sat on a bench in the shade. As I was
eating lunch, my heart started to race and started to breathe really
fast, sweated and felt very light headed. Instead of sitting still, I
felt like I had to walk it off or shake it off, if that makes sense and
after I did, my head started to hurt (I got one of those sharp pains
that I often get in the back of my head).

After about 10 minutes, I walked to my next class (it wasn't far, and I
did it slowly).

I couldn't sit still. My arms, my legs, my head, my eyes--everything
felt like it was going to pop and I'd bust out of my skin. I had no
focus, no concentration at all, and could have run a mile (well, not
really, but you get my drift).

The only thing that seemed to ease whatever it was bothering my senses
was to pull my arms back and hold them behind me (tightly). I'm not sure
if I did that voluntarily or what???

I know I had about 10 or more absenses in between all that because I
kept looking at the clock (it's just what I do, especially if it's on
the wall).

Was this a seizure? And what kind?

Thanks for your help.

Karen. it sounds like you were having an allergic reaction to what you
were eating possibly, only because it happened during lunch or right
afterwards and  I also use to get the racing heart, shortness of breath
sweating and my nervous system can be flying like I just drank a bottle
of caffeine and have to work it out of my system as your body was
reacting/telling you also.

Have you been tested for allergies?   Thats when I got answers to my
szs and other health problems. BTW when I plyaroundw/foods or other
irritants Whooh I pay for it, but I understand why now.

Hope this helps

I started out with simple partial seizures, which progressed to complex
partial seizures.  Some of the stuff you mentioned does not fit with my
experiences, but that doesn't mean a whole lot because everyone is
different.  Some of the symptoms you mentioned are common in hypoglycemia.
I guess that's why we have doctors; let them try to sort out all of this
stuff.

I'm glad you have been posting a lot because it will help all of us.  We can
learn from your experiences.

Howdy!

Then again Barb...

"Some of the stuff does not fit" can also mean that it wasn't a seizure at
all!

I'll stick with your other statement "That's why we have doctors"
