Two Marys!!
I done died and gone to heaven!!!!!!
Mary Bee and Mary Lou!!!
Sounds like the South finally done won the war!!!!

Bring on the Grits!!!!!

(And grits taste like mushed up rice overcooked for anyone that doesn't
know)

Some here in South Carolina eat them with milk, sugar and butter, some
with salt and pepper-takes getting used to. I got used to that but not
the bar-b-ques. Ya can keep the southern style bar-b-que with the
"mustard" base sauce (yukkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!) instead of "tomato" base
sauce. I'll have to stay with the ketsup!!!!)
:)

Owlvee!!  You are in South Carolina, too?  I didn't see that in the previous
thread. I was born and raised here.

Grits do not taste like mushed up rice, and I have never met anyone in SC
who eats them with milk and sugar, only oatmeal.  ;-)     Butter, salt and
cheese is the only way to eat them.

Oh, and another thing...  mustard based bbq is the ONLY kind to eat. Keep
your old nasty tomatoes. :-p

My 2 cents = nothing with mustard please.  Yuck, I make a face just thinking
about it :-(

I used to be like that then I made some honey mustard for acustomer.

It was delicious! I now make it just for us, not to sell. We eat it just
with bread (my baking) and butter(Welsh, salted).

I'd never have believed how good it could be.

Holly,
I checked out your page and it says " Worthington, Oh"!!
I was raised in the Akron, Cleveland area (Cuyahoga Falls mostly-
stationed in Cleveland in the Army) and can't see why you would would
move from this wonderful state of SC outside of Columbia to BRRRRRRRRRR
Ohio, other than your Job making you do so :)!!!

Yea, like oatmeal:) That's one way to eat them. I did try them with easy
over eggs, bacon and gravy with salt and butter(with out the cheese of
course!)-- Still taste like rice mushed up ha,ha........

Actually, I have only ever been to Ohio once, and that was flying through
Cinncinnati.

The guy who owns the web site and published my book is in Worthington.  I
work from home at my computer. We see each other about once a year at
conventions; otherwise all our business is conducted online or telephone.

We are developing some software, and eventually I will be traveling to
support the product, but don't ever plan to move from SC.

I live near Lake Murray in Gilbert. (Coming to the Peach Festival next
week???)  We have a wonderful fishing pond and lots of land around us. I
don't ever want to live anywhere else.

Nice to meet you here, by the way.

WOW! "Gilbert" heh? It is a small world ain't it? Then ya surely know
where "Wagener" is, don't ya, ??????
I lived on "Shadow Lane Road" off of Rt #39 outside Wagener from 98 when
I moved from Ohio till 2002 when my home burned down.  Now I am selling
the 21 wooded acres that it sat upon ($2100 per acre by the way---a
little plug for me :)  ).

I love the country life and also wouldn't live anywhere else even though
it has been near 100 degrees lately. I am now living near Batesburg by
the way, not to far from Gilbert.
I ride to the VA Hospital in Augusta for my Epilepsy treatment as I have
been told the Columbia VA is not as good (I don't know as I have never
been, there just going by word of mouth).

And it's super to meet ya also by the way!!!
Be typing at ya here and there (also in Jewl's support group of course)!!

My parents live between Batesburg and Saluda, just before Moores Creek on
178.

It is a very, very small world indeed. I used to live in Swansea and moved
to Gilbert in 97. Have you been to the Big Mo drive in?  We try to take the
kids at least once a year.

By the way, I have heard the same thing about the VA. My uncle has used both
centers. My granddad died at Cola VA... I was singularly unimpressed.

The Big Mo Hey??
A couple of weekends ago they had the new Batman "AND" Startrek at the
same time!! A pretty good draw for a drive in I think!!
I have never been there but I want to go sometime. Not being able to
drive makes it hard to get around. The person I rent from takes me to
the grocery store (because I spend my money on "our" grocerys :) ) and
takes me to the VA Hospital when I can't get my other disabled vet
friend Rev Fulmer to take me.
I have a friend that lived on Lake Murray. His parents still have a
$$$$$ home right on the lake. My friend works on computers, just sold
his home and is building another home near there. I bought this comuter
from him. He built it for me pretty cheap...
Nice having neighbors :)
