HI! This is Mary Lou and i am finding it very cinfusing on how to pst
or to reply to a post. My first post had 13 messages which I did myself
by accident and I don't know how i did it. Could someone maybe if they
have the time explain posting a littke to me or tell me where i can
find out how to post and reply the write way? I could really use some
help here. Thank you, Mary Lou

I thought you had just sent the 'reply' message manually more than once,
when the first one hadn't had time to appear in the group threads  (some of
my posts appear right away, others can take 5-10 minutes depending on the
server doing the posting).

I don't have any experience with Google,  but others here do.   Perhaps
someone here who uses Google can put up a note here on  1) how to do a New
Post (although this one she did appears ok)? and 2) how to do a Reply to a
Message,  also using Google.
Alternatively, you could probably do a Direct Reply to the original
poster if you don't want the replies to appear here.   Thanks.     G./

Mary, what are you using to view and reply to newsgroup messages?  Are
you going through Google or are you using a combination e-mail/newsgroup
software package, and if so, which one?  Need this information to give
you the proper instructions.

No matter what method you're using, submit the message once.  There is
often a delay before a message shows up in a newsgroup.

Mary,  I use Netscape and use the news service through my internet
provider.  Some people are not aware of the news service that most internet
service providers offer in addition to your email account.

When I first started posting some good advise I received was about
paragraphs.  It is easier to read if we put in a little white space.  So I
appreciated that advise.

Let us know what service you are using to view and post to the group and
one of us will be able to help you out.

Take care,
Julie
