An email friend of mine who has a daughter with the same bone disease as me
(osteogenesis imperfecta) has found out that she is diabetic.... OK, so I
understand that, but her native language is German and the following is an
extract from her email which I just don't understand!?! BTW, it's not my
translation - it's what the lady wrote!
"Since 28th January I know,
I'm diabetic, too.
Today, I was at the doctor at 8.00h,11.00h
and I must go later, at 3.00h p.m..
She makes a profile for the day to look,
which medicine I need.
My values are 370, 140, 211, 237."
Any ideas what those figures mean? I don''t have any more info (yet!). She
has been losing weight rapidly, thirsty etc for a month or 2. She's mid
30's, overweight if that's a clue?
Any help as to where she is in relation to hba1c etc will be gratefully
received!!!
Thanks!!
Dave

Those look like blood sugars in the mg/dL system of units. In your
system (UK), they would correspond to bG of 20.6, 7.8, 11.7 and 13.2
mmol/L.
There is no information applicable to HbA1c in that post other than hers
is probably "too high"

Many thanks - I think that was what she was suggesting as elsewhere in the
message she constantly refers to sugar levels.
