I had my 6 month test at the lab, and was expecting the worst, because I
have been having diarrhea of unknown origin. When the results arrived this
morning, I was amazed and delighted to discover:
Fasting glucose: 4.39 mmol/l
HBa1c: 5.40%
These are the best results I have had since diagnosis in 2005. My former
GP's dire predictions about "rapid evolution" of my disease have fortunately
not come true.
There is still no known cause of the diarrhea, but the medicine I am now
taking has made it a lot better.

Shame a little praise and support isnt offered to some of us more pro-
actives, isnt it?

Sometimes, loose stools are actually a sign of constipation! More
fibre required, perhaps??

Fantastic! Congrats, Donna. Hope the diarrhea sorts itself out soon!

Wouldn't it be nice if (s)he could pass on what you're doing to the
other inmates and stop their "rapid evolution" too?
Congratulations!

Something you're eating with concealed wheat? Or maybe something you
picked up at the doctor/hospital? They're giving away a lot of free
gifts of late <cough cough splutter>

Don't know Donna what your GP has done for you in respect of the loose
bowel movements but I can guess that it is concerning you. If not
already done, I would urge a test of your solid material in case there
is blood present.
Well done on the diabetes results.
