Heard an article on the local East Midlands BBC news about a coroner
slating the staff at Nottingham prison because they allowed a young
diabetic to go into a diabetic coma and die.  He hadn't seen a doctor
within the precribed time period.  The deceased's family can't sue the
prison because they have crown immunity.

Perhaps they could sue an indiidual. Crown immunity is not
applied to individuals. AFAIK

And in any case this government's policy is not to use it.
