It looks like it may not just be T1's who have to worry about their driving
licences:

The headline, obviously written by some arsehole "journalist", doesn't even
BEGIN to reflect the tone, meaning or intentions of the article, or the
thinking behind it.

The article says that driving while impaired by ANY drug (be that alcohol,
"recreational" drugs, OTC drugs or prescription drugs) should result in
licenses being revoked IF the drivers show they're incapable of driving
safely.

It didn't look to me like anyone's about to drop a blanket rule over anyone
taking medication. And I'd like to see anyone TRY to make that happen too.
At one time, epileptics couldn't get a license for love nor money, but they
can now and there's been no evidence of these drivers being any more
dangerous than other drivers, and if there were moves afoot to "re-stop"
them driving (and they're just one group) , the political party in power at
the time wouldn't be in power for a LONG time to come, and they know that.
