It's sad that in a country as wealthy as ours we can't provide healthcare
for our citizens. I had to fork out $558 for meds yesterday. That will
cover my deductible as the $685 I get puts me in the wealthy catagory. The
limit is $591. It's criminal.
Lotsa money in the war chest though.
I can see where my friend more or less gave up. The only way he could get
any is to get so sick they had no choice but to take him. Maybe a change in
administration will help.
I'm really looking forward to the Medicare prescription plan...NOT!
Methinks it's going to be a nightmare. I'm stockpiling meds as a
precaution. I know I can't be even one week without the psych meds. I
tried cutting the diabetes meds and my control started to slip.
Damned if I do damned if I don't.
The amazing thing is it's now going to cost far more to treat my friend at
this end of the illness than it would have been to treat it earlier. Penny
wise pound foolish.
