From the current post I contacted the Home Diagnostic and they say
their meter comes under the  Eckerd or Walgreen  Tru track brand
It is an edge pickup unit.   They offer no freebies or coupons but
a considerable lower cost.   I would like to hear from anyone
that has used this meter.   We need to break the present
price structure.   If it is a decent meter I will switch. I
suspect there is a lot of room for lowering the cost
of strips.

I have never tried it, but someone gave a bad report on it last year

I use the Relion brand WalMart meter - it is a Precision QID and Walmart
charges $9.99 for the meter and lancet inkit, and $42/ hundred for strips.
