I am sure that when I am in the hospital I cannot
cover every base.  Doped up and almost alive.

Guess I have to hire a full time lawyer just to
keep things straight.  It is real pain when you
get old and have trouble remembering and
reading.  Seems to me to be the old"It is your
fault game".

I have two artificial legs and a bunch of junk
passed off on me when I was unable to deal
with vendors and fellow travelers.   Check the
cost of these items.   Yet ask for a few strips
and you are committing a crime.  Get real.

It might make sense to have a patient advocate
in Medicare with some clout. They seem to
swallow an elephant  and choke on a gnat.

I have never asked for strips from Medicare.
Enough other problems.  I have four pieces
of durable equipment that I bought myself.
The old "do you really require it" gets old
and their checking  cost is too much.

The older we get, the more we have seen and experienced, the more
cynical we become.

That's how it goes.  As the old adage goes, "you can't put an old
head on young shoulders".  By the time you know better, it's too
late to take the best advantage of that wisdom.
