"The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine calculated the
obese consume 18% more calories than average.

They are also responsible for using more fuel, which has an
environmental impact and drives up food prices as transport and
agriculture both use oil.

The result is that the poor struggle to afford food and greenhouse gas
emissions rise, the Lancet reported.

It comes as the World Health Organization predicts the obese
population will double by 2015 to 700m."

Fat people also poot more.   There was a recent report (no lie) that
concluded that herds of cows farting also disproportionatley
contributes
to global warming.

It is mostly belching not farting that causing the problem so I'm
told.  Methane is a potent greenhouse gas.

You idiot, why are you trying to instigate more abuse of and bias
against obese people than they already endure (and by the way I've
always been what is considered 'too thin'). I don't see how they're
contributing to a food shortage in certain areas when whether or not a
people have enough food is determined by many, many, many factors
(including weather) that have no relation to how much food is in the
world.

And how do the obese use more fuel? You're a moron.

This is what happens when there is no man around and females bring up
children. I can't imagine a man allowing this to happen. The kid has no
medical problem because she slimmed down when she was taken away from the
mother and put into a hospital. Females are lazy by nature and if we
permitted it they would all just lay around eating all day like animals that
are given too much food.

There sure be MUCH more. Fatties should be shamed as should females who get
knocked up who have no means of support.

Food production is a worldwide market and has been since the late 1800's.

They weigh more so planes and cars consume more fuel.
