I am on Humalog 75/25 insulin. Because my sugar hasn't had the control
I want,my dr. doubled it. I take 37mg before breakfast and 27 mg
before supper.
It didn't occur to me that the price would double...duh! I got a bill
for 350$ and I am so upset. Live and learn.

Might have to do with how your Dr. writes your prescription. I am new to
insulin so I don't understand how that works. But with pills and needles
and strips, mine covers 90 days at a time. I got three pens per
prescription. At the rate I am injecting, I don't think that will cover 90
days. But at the time he prescribed it, he didn't know how much per day I
would be using.

First, there in need for care with the use of Humalog.
You will need to keep close contact with your doctor and
he can modify prescriptions.
Diabetes is expensive with insurance. Without it ---a
super load. The people in the medical business
are not bit timid.
For me lie vacations are not on the agenda. Each
year we have to give up more and more to stay
solvent.
I had a recent incident and they told me a number
of tests were necessary. Then Medicare refused
to pay. was told My part of the bill was limited.
But that limit hurts anyway.
The submitted bill to Medicare was
around $10,000.
You might as well get used to bills.

I get rip off game every week. medical care is expensive now
and attracts the trashiest people in the world. when you
get old they hassle you every day wanting you to mortgage your
property with very misleading calls and ads. One even showed up
at my door.
The predators are waiting for personal disasters to grab the
bounty. They have an actors demeanor and are just to help
you. Help you out of your hard earned bucks.
Some in the profession accuse you of wasting their time if you ask
a question. It is time people hit back at the spoiled brats.
Socialize the whole business and establish controls. They have failed
at professional conduct.
Why old people get bitter.

I got a call on my cell phone a couple of days ago. First, it took a bit
for the woman to recover from realizing I was a female. NO business of any
kind has my cell phone, so I knew it was marketing, and I was able to get
rid of her during her weakness, Then, Jim said while he was here yesterday,
before coming down the street to get me, there was a call for me, and he
told them I was not there. They wanted to know when I would be available.
He asked if it was about insurance. After telling them I was disabled, they
said guess he handled my insurance then, and he said he sure did. They said
and he was sure he had me fully covered, to which he said yes (100%), and
hung up then.
But you are right Guy. Once they see we are on Medicare, it is like we are
swathed with blood and the hounds are set loose after us.
