I am ready to leave for the summer tomorrow, and catching up as always
on this group. Even though I am not the diabetic, hubby is.
I noticed that Will had not posted for a long while, and I am concerned.
Hopefully all is well, although I know he had a lot of gout problems,
and then work to catch up.
I worry about my "family" here.
Actually, I may join you; the last annual blood tests showed a Glucose
of 115. It was sort of fasting, but you can be sure I will follow it
this summer.! Didn't bother the PCP, but caught my attention!

Have a great trip Gillian, where are you going this year? You went to
Canada last year didn't you? Or do you go to the same place every
year? Anyway, have fun. As to Will, the last time he checked in, he
said he was extremely busy with some exciting cases.

Not as far as some years, with the price of diesel such as it is, and
only getting 10 mpg! We are headed off shortly to Indiana, then Dayton
Ohio (BIG Ham Radio Event), then roaming eastwards through parts of PA
we haven't seen, ending up in Mass and NH seeing family. Then head
southwards back to Florida...it will be about 5 months! WE like to take
our time, use the little car, which we tow, and get out and about
exploring the country.
Hope all have a great summer...and STAY WELL!!

Once I wanted to buy a vintage bus and travel/live/build a darkroom in
it and in those days diesel was several orders of magnitude cheaper.
Have a good trip and keep an eye on your postprandials, you know the
score!

Will invited me to meet in Washington, but I received no
replies to emails closer to early April when I passed
through. My last contact was March 4th.
Bon voyage. Where are you off to?
Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.

Gill, I developed DM with severe peripheral neuropathies without ever
going above 109 on a fasting and I still have fbg of about 100.
The fbg fails to diagnose 70% of women above 50, compared to post meal
testing.

And we haven't heard from Frank2 as well. I vaguely remember that Will was
going to be very busy with court cases for a few months and Frank2 was going
to be travelling. Both seem to me to have been gone for a long, long time.

Yes, I remember that it was a girl. I knew her name at some point. Yes, please
give him my email address. Nothing needs doing to it. Thanks!
