Boy this is getting frustrating.  I wolfed down my dinner last night as a
bedtime snack.  I was sooo hungry by then.  I shudder to think of what might
have happened had I not had all those carbs in my system.  I do not
understand this roller coaster I am on.  The lantus is supposed to keep my
blood sugar stable all day.  So far all it has done is give me lower numbers
and higher numbers.  Hmmm...

That is a normal reading.

That is wonderful :-)

A healthy euglycemic type-2 diabetic is a hungry diabetic.

Your liver can make carbs as needed by the brain while the rest of
your body can break down that black fat (VAT) to meet its needs.

It remains smarter to simply eat less, down to the right amount:

Here again is that simple parable which does promote greater
understanding:

May we, who are Christians, continue to pray for your perishing soul,
dear Julie:

That 77 FBG sounds great to me, Julie. Hope you were able to have smooth
sailin' the rest of the day, too!

I know.  Let's see what happens in the morning!

Lantus does not keep my bg stable all day. It can easily be overridden with
carbs. It did, however kill my typically high fbg, as it seems to be doing
in your case.

Not all the time though.  About half of the time I am waking up waaay too
high in the morning.  And oddly sometimes my BG is now normal after dinner.
No changes in diet except to add lunch.

Did you get my email suggesting an alternate newsgroups provider if your
newsreader program can handle connecting to more than one newsgroups
server at a time?

I've seen this server recommended for people who want a free text-only
newsgroup server:

Sorry Robert, I didn't. I have a "spam block" in my email address here. My
actual email address is mydhen@optusnet.com.au

All compliments, suggestions and insults can be sent to that. Please re-send
the email if it's convenient.
