If he eats, up goes his blood sugar, later it goes down. It is a natural process. Up until a few years ago, my husband never went over 4.9 mmol/l no matter what the carb load. Now his 1 hr can go as high as 6.3. The belly is making an appearance. And so it begins... His mom was dx T2 last summer. She does d & e.
