It is amazing how much R&D resources (especially that spent in the
coming up with the different insulin formulations) has been
disproportionately allocated to type-1 diabetes when more than 95% of
all diabetes in this country (U.S.) is type-2 and will not benefit
from this technology.
Therefore, it remains much smarter for type-2 diabetics, instead of
relying on exogenous insulins, to simply eat less down to the right
amount to possible cure their affliction:
