I started 50mg Lyrica (2x a day), for neuropathy,  Thurs the 13th.
Everything was wonderful till yesterday (the 21st).   I was drowsy and my
hands, lower legs and feet were swollen.  Same thing today.  The swelling is
uncomfortable to painful.  Don't know if I can continue this med if this
side effect doesn't stop as my body adjust to the medication.  Does anyone
know if this particular side effect goes away or is constant?
Thanks,
Monica

I take 300mg once a day. I had a short period with feet swelling during the
time I've been taking it but I can't attribute it to the Lyrica. Hang in
there for a few more day and see what happens... or ... just stop taking it
for a week or so and see what happens. Best thing to do though is to call
your doctor and discuss it with him.

G'day G'day,

It is very important NOT to just stop taking some meds. The dose
must be reduced gradually.  Consult your doctor or pharmacist before
considering stopping such a plan.  One med I was on took three weeks
of slowly diminishing doses to come off safely.  The penalty for
coming off rapidly was the possibility of seizures.

Best wishes,
