Polenta processed in anyway other than just grinding?
Aka, do I get the whole kernel in the polenta?

For those who don't know, yor average grain of wheat (okay to eat) gets
multiple treatments to make many products(not good to eat). So, I'm
wondering if polenta is just ground maize.

Once a grain is ground, it's not a kernel and it ceases to be a "whole"
grain.

Google for "polenta recipe" and you will have your answer. Its heavily
processed.

Not over here (UK). But it's irrelevant from my POV, still a big
spike.
