% - 18 Mar 2008 22:36 GMT if someone has sex with a woman without her permission, maybe while she's asleep or drugged, maybe even gets her pregnant, can he still be a good Christian if he doesn't ask for forgiveness? Is the Church ok with that sort of thing? I know the Church turns a blind eye to the rape of little boys, but what about when it's a woman? Is it worse to rape a married woman or a single woman?

Signature The opinions given above may be mine. They might also just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

I always thought the church was founded by putting a man up for the night

LOL! true. But the Catholics can go to confession and all is forgiven.
Religion of any type, I want no part of.

That's the true beauty of any religion that believes in forgiveness... complete denial of personal responsibility. You can do whatever you want as long as you promise to feel bad about in the morning.
Some things you simply can't apologize for.

Again, your theology is off the mark. Do you know how hard it is to feel forgiven by God even though He freely offers His forgiveness in measure to your forgiveness? You really ought to read more theology.

You really ought to read more theology. LOL! You clearly have no f.cking idea who you're talking to.
...and BTW, "theology" is the study of religion and/or spirituality, not the blind acceptance of your interpretation of the religion you've chosen to believe in.
You should read some Plato... it might help you with your rampant self-delusion.

There is no mark for theology, it is all bullshit.
> Do you know how hard it is to feel When was the last time you felt something hard? Isn't it true that things that are hard can't co-exist in your immediate vicinity? Isn't that why your husband left you? In search of a sex life?
> forgiven by God even though He freely offers His forgiveness in > measure to your forgiveness? Ignoring for a moment that there is no such thing as a God, your Christian Bible shows the imaginary being whose a.s you kiss to be an unforgiving, mean tempered, petty minded and jealous a.shole. Why do you think they refer to God's Groupies as being God-fearing? Why the f.ck would you worship someone who wants you to be afraid of them? There has never, not one single time, been any evidence of a God. Nothing has ever happened that wouldn't have happened exactly the same way without any dubious deity's involvement.
You really ought to read more theology.
No, I don't think so, I like my fiction to have a plot. I know the Bible is full of rape, murder, incest, homosexuality, vengeance, torture, thievery, contradictions, lies and general stupidity, but it really is quite boring. No plot.

No. He can't even tell the difference between the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
