Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Hopefully those who might have missed your message will be able to add
their own best wishes.
Such things really do speed the healing process and its just one of
the ways folks on ASD support one another.

I'm ashamed to say I did see Andy's post and got side-tracked and
forgot to respond - apologies, Andy!
I hope you arent in too much pain and that you are taking your time in
healing - dont rush anything, especially with one leg!
All the best,
HB

Good for you Quentin. I cannot even find the one you coming from, so I'll
leave it to someone else to edit/cut this one.
Andy, wishing you a best recovery. Take good care of yourself; that is the
best way. ;)

Billie,
Thanks!
It's been a big challenge. Stairs are the biggest obstacle. The only other
headache is soothing an itch inside the cast! I've been wacking the cast
with my backscratcher for some relief.
I have begun taking a calcium + vitamin D supplement.
If I win the Powerball lottery tonight, I'm going to round up all the folks
here at a.s.d for an extremely long lunch! Either that or they'll find me
dead of a heart attack, clutching the winning ticket in my hand. OR the
more likely scenario, I lost $5!!! ;)
Best,
Andy

I'll lend ya my extra long knitting needle I used when I got my arm
smashed up to scratch with, shoulder to wrist in a hot Aussie summer.
At least you won't have the problem of the bank not wanting to give you
money cause you had to sign with yer left hand and signature didn't
match :-) No practicing falling down the stairs, leave that for the
youngsters.

Rod offering you the use of his knitting needle reminded me that when my son
broke his arm, the orthopaedist suggested putting the vacuum cleaner hose on
the opposite end of the machine and blowing the air up into the cast. It
helped so well that me daughter did it when she broke her leg. He broke his
leg in the winter (Dec 23rd) and she in the summer.

G'day G'day Andy,
Your comments remind me of a fabulous Irish comedy movie where a
bloke did die clutching a winning lottery ticket. The local villagers
decided to cash it in with hilarious results.
Someone will remember what it is called.
I'll settle for the virtual lunch.
Best wishes,

Wasn't it "Waking Ned Devine?" I think so, but I could be wrong. :-)

Sounds right :) A sort of British answer to Weekend At Bernie's - one of my
all-time favourites! :)
