I use herbs and diet to control my diabetes. Just recently I tried
Isogenix which would be a great product if they didn't use sugar in
their products. I had to send it back and get my money back as the
herbs they use wasn't enough to wash out all the sugar they put in.
Today when I ate a meal that included a little garbanzo beans, I
decided to take Gymna Sylvestre rather than pure stevia to control my
blood sugar because Gymna Sylvestre is suppose to help repair pancreas
(sp) cells if not damaged for any length of time and I wanted to undo
any damage that the Isogenix caused. I knew I didn't need much
medicine, so I broke the pill in half. Shortly after, I got shaky as
if my #'s were in the 70's. I immediately checked my #'s and it was
94, which is perfect. Anybody know why I would feel so bad? I don't
believe there was enough time to spike and come back down after my
meal. I decided to have a spoonful of fruit even though my #'s were
good. Shortly after I felt better. Thanks

Maybe you should quit messing around with the herbs?

And there is too much we don't know.  Like what was your BG prior to eating
the beans?

Stevia isn't purported to lower BG.  Don't know where you got that from.
From what I've read about Gymna Sylvestre, it's worthless but probably
harmless.

I have no clue about the other stuff you took and I'm not going to take the
time to look it up.  Please oh please do not post a link about it.  I don't
wanna know and I suspect others don't wanna either.

Actually, I use pure Stevia to control my count and it works. I gave
some to a friend who has diabetes and it worked for her also. Gymna
Sylvestre has worked for me in the past as well, but I had gotten
better and it became too strong for me.

I can see that you might like it as a sweetener (I don't) as opposed
to sugar which can elevate your numbers, but I don't believe that it
would control your "count" anymore than Splenda, or Equal, or any of
the artificial sweeteners would control your count. JMO

what I believe is what *I* found out by doing a simple google archive
search, which you did not.   So the foundation for your insult is
what?

You know, Julie, if one does a search, one can figure out pretty quick
wipeout64 is not a peddler, just probably a little clueless, and is
also mostly into religion.

Here is the last post by him/her last year:

http://tinyurl.com/2bkags

So you know what, why don't you try to be a little nicer
about it especially considering all the love and attention
*you*  get around here.

Yeah, well...  I don't get any of that from you so I sure am not going to
take your advice.

My advice has nothing to do with my giving you love or attention
or not.  Why should that factor into it?  it has nothing to do with
it.

It is right, whether it comes from me or not.   You get lots of
love and atention on here.  try to be a little nicer.

I do enjoy it, and yet that does not make what I said false, you did
not deny that.
