Perhaps. I think in another ten years or so, T2 will be cured. I think
T1 is a tougher nut to crack, but this article does give some hope for a
T1 cure. As the article said though, "more research is needed."

As a T2, I hope you're right but I always though T2 was the more
complex disease because of insulin resistance. Although T2s don't have
the immune response that kills beta cells, it seems that strides are
being made in this area. Also, it's been shown that beta cell regrowth
(regeneration or recovery?) is achievable. If these two aspects of T1
can be successfully addressed, then T1 would be cured. I don't think
dealing with insulin resistance is nearly as far along as the previous
two factors. This has been my impression anyway.

I think TII is a tougher nut to crack. Not only do you have insulin
resistance, but you've got major, long-term behavioral issues that have
to be resolved in an environment of influential and pervasive mass
marketing of foods that work against the needed behavior change. Then
there's the damned television with its hypnotic promotion of sedentary
overconsumption.

Well, I wasn't considering behavior/lifestyle modifications because
there are people who eat whatever they want, are sedentary and don't
get diabetes. I would think that a true cure would bring the T2 to
that point, where lifestyle doesn't even factor into it.

Those who are using the 2PD-OMER Approach to avoid overeating can eat
whatever they want, can be sedentary and yet don't get diabetes.

Moreover, many who have type-2 diabetes are being cured of their
type-2 diabetes as they lose their black fat:

For this reason, it remains smarter to eat less, down to the right

So those who eat sparingly and do get diabetes are just imagining it?

There is no such thing as "black fat".  You provide no source to prove
this because there is none.

There is no medical basis for saying "if you do x you will not get
diabetes."

Competent physicians know that genetics, diet, habits and envoironment
contribute to diabetes.

I wish you no ill will but if God has a since of humor you will become
diabetic.

Dr. Chung;s dietary advice is dangerous.

Where is the medical evidence that any 2 pds of food will provide the
proper nutrition and cure diabetes.

Please provide the peer reviewed journal where you have published this
proof.

Oh wait, I forget, God doesn't want you to share that information.

If there were any truth to your claims failing to publish would be a
sin of omission.

You have no proof and yet risk other's health so you can feel
important.

Dr. Chung you are sad man.  I pity you.

Dateline Mableton Georgia

It has been learned today that the Mableton Georgia Sperm Bank has
filed for bankruptcy.  It seems that "Ejac" Chung's 2 million dollars
guarantee is from sales of his sperm from his self-activity to the
Mableton Georgia Sperm Bank and since no woman wants Ejac's sperm, the
Sperm Bank cannot sell it so has gone broke.  Numerous communities
have refused using their land fill sites for all the sperm as they do
not want their land contaminated.  The solution of this may cause many
sticky problems.

Updates to follow.

We have this release from the Vatican.

In a break with years traditions and long held Church principles, the
Pope announced that any woman impregnated with Chung's sperm from the
Mableton Sperm Bank, should have an abortion.

The Pope said, "if only Chung's mother had had an abortion, the world
would be a better place"

Seriously? Enlighten us on the sources for that optimism
please.

My heart wants your dream to be fulfilled. My head says
otherwise.
