I remember when gold was $35.00 an ounce.  Now it's $929.00 an ounce.
What does that mean? It's a rather significant fall in the worth of a
dollar it seems to me.

It means that the price of gold is no longer pegged, by law, at $35.00
per ounce, and that the folks that sell it want, and get, a $929 per
ounce.

Now talk about diabetes or go away.
