The above article contains far too many references to "cure" to be taken
seriously at first glance. But, it's interesting, nevertheless, especially
towards the end.

It's not an article, it's a sales pitch.
Not worth the paper it's printed on.

I believe him because I do something very similar for the same reasons and
it works  :)
Exercise , no junk food , no high glycemic foods
Avoid all transfats.
Replace all comercial hydrogenated oils (containing transfats) with : long
chain fish oils , omega-3 oil from wall nuts , mono unsaturated olive oil ,
unsaturated coconut oil , medium- and short chain fatty acids from real
butter , cottage cheese or cream.Add fiber from veggies to stimulate your
own GLP-1 production. This moved my BMI , lipids , HbA1c , fasting bg in the
normal range. The rest is just semantics.

Another source with the same message :

Philip A. Wood is Director, Division of Genomics, University of Alabama at
Birmingham. He holds professorships there in genetics, nutrition sciences,
physiology, and biophysics

"My goal in this book is to explain the influences of genetics , nutrition ,
exercise and drugs on the storage and burning of body fat.The topic also
requires explanations of what I call the diseasea and syndromes of excess
fat : obesity , insulin resistance , metabolic syndrome , type 2 diabetes"

it's a very nasty form of spam and scam to sell a useless book written
by a nutter.  The book costs 25.00 and can only be purchased from the
author directly.

Regardless, it's still interesting in places.

A type-2 diabetic coming off of all of his/her medications while still
maintaining euglycemia is one who is being cured.

This has happened after bariatric surgery after there has been VAT
loss even before significant weight loss.

Similarly, we are seeing this for type-2 diabetes using the non-
surgical bariatric equivalent 2PD-OMER Approach:

Illustrative case example:

This completely free Approach comes with free cardiologist support via
usenet plus an unprecedented two million dollar guarantee whose
details have been freely posted and discussed in sci.med.cardiology as
archived by Google:
