I just checked the temperature outside... it says "Sorry, no degrees
detected!"

Monday night I grilled out in a t-shirt. Jeez, this can't be Florida!

Suppose to rain for the next 5 days in sunny Southern California.
Maybe Al Gore is right!

Some scientists believe that our global warming isnt due to pollution and
waste but due to ensuing ice age.

Mind you, if thats true, it doesnt mean we shouldnt still be taking full
responsibility for this beautiful planet and should still cut poison and
waste.  But, I'd certainly start buying some wooly knickers!!!

Well, at least there is no worry about brush and forest fires.  You have
had enough of that for a while.  Let's hope no enough for mud slides.  We
are just very cold in NYC today but expect a nice warm-up next week, well
into the 50's  I believe it when I see it.

Next S. Cal item to solve-writer's strike.

Nope,  the late night (11PM) shows like David Letterman and Jay Leno came
back on last night.  Leterman made a separate agreement with the Union adn
Leno hasn't, so his guest list may well be more limited to peole willing
to cross the picket line.  So far it is 6 weeks ad, as far as I know, no
talk ging on, or at least not reported.  Of course, the news media
currently have no time for anyting but the Iowa presidential caucus in
just a few hurs as well as Briieny's sster's pregnacy, so they don't have
time to cover such matters:-)

Is lovely and quiet over here, no nasty canned laughter, easy to get
the kids to put reruns down and do their homework...

The charter also says be nice to others. Lol. Not that anyone follows the
charters of unmoderated usenet groups.

Yes, and in the morning, afternoon and evening!

What fascinates me is how, on such little sleep (sometimes to the point of
zombiefication <-- is there such a word?!), we still manage to function as
mothers and fathers!!
