Noted the Blog  with Actos comments.

I was warned about the TZD's long ago.

Doc's seem adamant for the drugs that improve insulin sensitivity.

Years ago I was put on Glucophage and had great problems from it.

I understand that it is Ok for most people.

MY beef is--- I have normal insulin requirements  but the doc have
never done any exact test.  It is obvious that L do not produce any
insulin.

Before Resulin was to market I was warned about it.

I had to fight the doc on my use pf Resulin  when  the
glucophage caused problem. Hell no.

Recently I was issued a prescription by another doc.
It was for Juandia ?????.    I looked it up.   NO,
not for me.

I have done very good on Insulin, once I identified my situation
and found the proper routine.

Very few laser hits and no neuropaty unless I get careless.

NOW, why in the hell is there  tries to put me on every new diabetic
drug on the market.

On my last 911 run the tech told me that his sister is waiting on a
Liver transplant.  She did use Resulin.   Any of you ever read the
history of resulin and where it originated?

I think  we need more controls on the introduction of new drugs.

I doubt if a delay would make much difference in the mortality of
diabetics.   The time and care should be related to the nature
of the disease

PS  I remember the defense of Resulin here long ago.

And they definitely need to stop advertising all those drugs on TV.

And ya gotta love that clause "ask your doctor if you're healthy enough to
have sex." Well, in any condition, that would be the way to go, imho.

What do I say to my Doc "Heather"? Better f*@k me just to be on the safe
side? <VBG>

If I die, well, no malpractice, she did everything just right. I'll even
put in a good word for her as St. Peter shows me my new digs.

Andy
