I think we're gonna have to extend the Diabetes Suspension a few more days.
There's still simply too many goodies around. Of course, participation is
optional.

Not in my house! :) I had a small amount of fudge, peppermint bark and
haystacks left. Oddly the haystacks don't seem to affect my BG. Perhaps
because I used a large amount of unsweetened coconut in proportion to the
chocolate that holds them together. The chocolate is affecting my GERD
though. So I'm not much tempted to eat them. The only other leftover food
we have is Say Cheez and I don't like that enough to be tempting.

Then there's New Year's Eve. How many carbs in a serving of Moet &
Chandon? Who can stick to just one helping?

yellow cake with ice cream and nut bread all the same as the real deal if
not a bit TOO sweet for my taste buds!
My mains meals have been turkey and faux mashed tater which is me taking 50
percent baking potato and 50 percent cauliflower and mashing it up with
butter and heavy cream...zero raise and in fact i made the oppsie of takin
my meds and eating the turkey and taters and i FELL to 60!..was not cool..so
i ate some cookies for dessert and all was well..lol.
MY highest reading even post meals was 110...im not trying to brag but just
am very excited that my firts xmas as a diabetic was a great success!
I got to eat the traditional foods i love with zero harm to myself!

It's uranium oxide U3O8. Very low in both fat and carbs.

I'm in the UK, John - and I never bother to look in the cake aisle
anyway; I'd rather bake it.

I froze the one small cake I chose to indulge in, for future, planned
indulgences. I sent Tom to work the day after Xmas with a very high
stack of cake boxes for the employee kitchen.
You don't miss it once it's out of the house. :-)

Why not devise a way to eat the goodies yourself and make someone
elses sugars spike rather than yours?
