hi guys,
I'm ready to start trying this out. Does anybody take this before bed
to help with DP? If so, how did it work out?
At any rate, I'm ready to try it. For the moment I' m taking regular
ALA plus EPO plus milk thistle at bedtime, with some meat (blech).
Got my fbg down to only 104.

I take 1 300 mg of the Jarrows' time release in the morning and 1 300
mg in the evening. I think it helps. Good luck.

Several diabetics on Dr. Bernstein's forum say it helps their DP. I
believe it should because I'm taking it for a recent flare up of diab.
periph. neuropathy--burning feet at night--and it has both relieved the
symptoms and greatly reduced my need for insulin.
In Bernstein's 2003 edition of "DS", he was recommending Jarrow. In his
2007 edition, he's recommending "Insulow" believed to be a better form
of ALA. I found Insulow to have a more pronounced effect on lowering my
insulin requirement than Jarrow, but I think both are very good.
Insulow is actually cheaper in my opinion because the dosage is smaller
and the biotin supplement is larger than Jarrow's.
