The Contour monitor has an alarm that can be attached to a meal. It's only
allowed to 2.5 hours pre or post meal. I thought 2 hours was normal. What's
correct?

It also has a logbook setting for "out of sync" or "similar" readings. For
when readings go wacky. Are you familiar?

2 hours unless your eating something with a delayed BG impact like
Pizza.

I'd rarely need an alarm later than one hour anyway. Here is
why:

Neither is particularly useful.

Yes... Is why I logged to an Excel spreadsheet, to use some
intelligence in my data gathering. My new OneTouch meter is a bit
brighter, but I've got out of the habit of setting the right alarm -
you have to do it first - so that rarely gets done anyway.
