Today I received a letter from Roche concerning Accu Chek products. I
use all their meters. A few weeks ago I asked them to replace the
complete meter since it devours batteries in a couple months. Anybody
ever see Roche send such a letter?

On the odd occasions I've called Roche about meters, they're just sent me a
couple of new ones the same day. No letter like that.

I didn't get such a letter when my Accu-Chek Advantage meter went kaput,
but the Roche guy I called led me through their troubleshooting routine.
After the routine failed to revive the meter, Roche sent me a new one by
FedEx overnight.

That is what I was wondering. I thought marketing crappola. Roche
replaced a BG meter. What is to troubleshoot? Weird.

Sorry about the typo... That should have been, Great to see you
posting."....as a statement, and not as a question. No question about it....
It is good having you around!

I wasn't sure if it was a spin on soem marketing scheme. Roche is
very aggressive on marketing.
